    Default 1.4 Sport - Oil top up warning after 8 months – 27-02-2017,04:55 PM
    Hi all

    Just thought I'd ask in here to see if anyone else has had the same.

    My 1.4 Sport Avant has done just under 6k miles in 8 months and has just sprung "Please add max 1l oil" warning on me. Just wondered if this is normal/anyone else had the same?

    Never had this so soon on any other car before.

    I had to do exactly the same with my 2016 A4 1.4 TFSI. Around the 11 months mark with around 10,500 kms. (7,000 miles approx.) Audi dealer wasn't surprised so maybe it's a normal thing with this engine? I read somewhere that oil consumption decreases as mileage increases. I'll be watching it carefully from now on though.
