Hiyya I've got an issue with the tandem pump buzzing only when the car gets to temperature????it's OK when cold but when it gets to 90 on the temp gauge it starts buzzing??any ideas? Also having a few problems starting when cold this has got more noticeable just recently so going change the glow plugs see if this solves the problem the car has only done 55000 is this about the mileage for a glow plug change?thanks

It sounds more like you HP fuel pump or fuel metering valve is failing, rather than glow plugs, can you get the HP rail pressure checked?

metering valve is on the pump itself, see how hot your pump gets once the engine is up to 90'C, it may be your auxilliary feed pump is not working, giving you difficult starting and low or no cooling fuel return to the tank, letting the pump run hot and giving the buzzing sound. Just me thinking aloud mind you.
Get some diagnostics done on the fuel system and don't delay getting this sorted, as the HP pump breaking up will cost you a fortune.
