Particulate Filter Warning

Isn't that the car saying that you drive like a granny () and short distances??

Think it just needs a good blast at 40mph and above in sport mode and it'll help clear the soot - we get it on the 6 fair whack when DPF regen interrupted and after the cars had too many short journeys (nursery run) - 20min blast sorts it out.

To be honest we have stopped driving both cars in 'E' mode as I've found on the 6 this led to a lot of DPF faults

11.8mpg! No offence but i get better than that out of my MK1 Facelift 4.2tdi (340 mapped to 400) doing short runs.
I Thought these MK2's were meant to be lighter and a lot more fuel efficient.

I never even look at that thing, it really doesn't bother me. I get 500 or so miles out a tank. That's good enough for me.
