    Hi all,

I have a VW Fox (2006) and unfortunately my battery is dead so I would like to replace it with a new one. However, for that I need to remove a plastic frame that encloses the battery. Does anyone know how I can easily remove that? Thanks in advance for your help.

    A happy VW member

at the rear of the plastic box are two clips, a long screwdriver can open the two clips

if its really old, they may snap as plastic tends to go hard and brittle over time

if it does break, don't worry about it as it just sits there
