Just picked up new Q7. Very pleased with it. Checked tyre pressure on 21 inch and found them all set at 45 psi!!!
The dealer had clearly missed these during pdi. Set to 38 all round.
On a related point what sort of wear are people getting out of the Q7? I read on the US forum that many were talking about bare treads after only 10000 miles!!!

My fronts were 45psi too. I'd asked for no clean during the pdi but think they didn't do it at all!

I think the tyre wear is unique to US as they seem to have a mix of runflats and summer tyres from what I've seen. Mine look like new after 1 year and 6,500 miles.

My 285/45 R20 came with 40 in the front and 42 at the back. I lowered to 38 all around in the evening today. I think I'm gonna set myself to that.
I'll tell you guys tomorrow if I feel any difference at all in the morning.

I run my 21s at 38 all round. Done 8500 miles and tyres all still look fine. I did get the dealer to rotate them when it was in last week. Hopefully this should help get a little bit more out of them.

No such noticeable difference with 38, TBH. Next to try 38 in the front and 40 at the back and chk if there is any difference.
