Unsure about the model you have but I can check mine over the weekend - However in my C6 A6, I had plugged the car into VCDS/Laptop and there was a battery module that you could go into to check the voltage and what not including battery state which gave you a percentage of the battery charge/health from memory

This might help: Can I use VCDS to check the alternator / battery charging OK ?

I think I will look into the trickle charger, don't know whats happened for the battery/charge to deplete as I had no issues around 6 weeks ago.

is there an easy way I can check the voltage of the battery? and what should a healthy battery voltage be?

    Cheers,
Today was less car day apart from putting in the last of the LED lights as I broke one trying to remove it however I did jump into the car to do a quick scan and search for you via VCDS. What I found is the normal measuring blocks icon is blocked out but the advanced one was not and I found my answer there - I think.

So plug the car in, and open up Module 19 - CAN Gateway
Then click on Adv. Meas. Values (under Basic Functions)

This will open up a VCDS Advanced Measuring Values screen and also a "Click for Selection " screen which is essentially a set of bits you can check to monitor.

In there, check the Battery ones that you want to measure. In my case I did the following which got me the following results:

    Battery variant - Manufacturer: JCI
Battery variant - Size: 92 Ah
    Battery Voltage : 12.206v
    Battery Current filtered: -16.200A
    Battery Current: -16.289A
    Temperature of battery sensor: 15
    Battery temperature: 14
    Battery charge condition: 81%
    Battery condition for display: 80%
    Battery internal resistance: 3.2 mOhm
    Usable battery charge: 45 Ah

From memory when I used to monitor the A6 C6 battery, it was the battery condition that was useful. I can't remember the in's and out's of it however there are plenty of threads explaining it but from memory, once it got to 60-70% it was probably worth planning on changing it?
Mine is 81% however I was sitting in the car for a good 30 mins with heated seats on, radio on and fans on minimal and so it might change once the trickle charger does it's thing.

Hope this helps! What is interesting is it's a 92 Ah battery, pretty sure my the A6 C6 was 110. Never checked the A6 C7 so can't compare.

Well I recived the car back today from the dealer after 4weeks in their hands, the work carried out:

    Spoiler:
    Spoiler control unit
    New spoiler mounting and Bracket

    Nav:
    Replaced entire roof aerial

All seems to be working fine now, the costs on the invoice mount upto £1280 excluding the VAT and this would have been more on labour had it have been out of warranty !! unbelievable cost considering these are relatively small issues.

As part of the investigation of the rear spoiler in the notes the detail "lubricated spoiler" I assume this would be to 2 hinges - so does anyone out there lubricate the brackets? I have the spoiler on the auto setting so only really pops up on the motorway

I know I will be following up on the extended warranty now.
