Apparently there is a different grade of engine oil for those on long life cycles.

They did the fuel filter and a major long life service for £275. Seems my rear pads are extremely low and have less than 1k miles left. They are having it back next weekend to change and upgrade them to brembo pads. (Do the rears not have wear indicators?)

I am gathering the parts to do the front and rear discs and brakes myself. I checked my rear pads and they came with new sensors so i would say yes. Maybe yours are borderline and not setting off the sensors yet

there is a sensor but mine went off at the last minute when it was almost metal on metal. will keep an eye on it myself from now on!
got my fixed oil service today at audi, let's see what else they can charge for. quote 245.90 for a fixed oil service.

98,000 miles and my front and rears still have life left in them. Must remember to use the brakes from time to time!
