High beam assist -retrofit?

Hi guys,

Just purchased an 2012 Audi Q7 Sline plus 3.0tdi in a controversial Teak Brown ... bit like marmite I guess, but I love it.. like I like marmite lol!

Any way having come from an 09 s4 B8 I'm certainly enjoying the air suspension and comfort... but there are a few things I'm missing, for example the folding mirrors on lock is a shame- and I have been told that it's not possible to retro fit also miss the dipping on reverse mirror- but I appreciate I don't have the memory seats for that!

But one one thing I was looking for is the high beam assist.. I have the auto dimming mirror and it has the little white light/glass facing out on it.. but I don't have high beam assist as I did on my s4. Is it possible to retro fit it? Is there a wiring issue? Or can it be coded through vagcom or something else? I always found this little option quite useful!any help appreciated!

on a dif note.. def enjoying the car, only had it two days but it's great so far.. different beast to what I've had before and will take gettin used to but looking forward to it!

I don't have memory seats and I managed to program dip mirror on reverse. You need a vcds

Folding mirrors on lock can be done with a non audi module I have been told. There is a company towards London that does the fit. Think it's called audi retrofits or something like that

Have a look on kufatec, they do a high beam assist retrofit kit

Thanks for ur help on this guys... will have a look into it all... don't have access to he vcds so could be a pain!

Have a look for Vcds users map on here. It's a list of members with Vcds who are willing to help. Normally a few beers is all it costs.
