Good afternoon all, this is my first post on this forum so forgive me if there's any typos ! Lol. Right I have a 2008 caddy tdi which in the past few weeks has developed a problem and would very much appreciate any thoughts you may have . It only happens every now and then and only when the engine is hot , i go to start the engine , it fires but doesn't start ? After trying a few things like lock ,unlock it eventually starts and is back to normal . It has been scanned and there is no report off the ecu . It's very well serviced and this is the first fault I've had with this fantastic van , any help would be much appreciated . Many thanks 👍🏻

Good morning , sorry for the late reply . Yes when it faults I can hear the tank pump starting up ,it has behaved for a week or so now but faulted again yesterday ! I had it scanned on a different scanner ( snap on solus ) and it produced the following report : 12601 intake manifold runner control signal out of tolerance - intermittent p3139 . I have no idea what it means but it is something to go on . Can anyone make any sense of this code ? Many thanks

I have checked a few things looking for faults and found some wiring that had been rubbing on the lifting eye of the head , am not sure what the part is where the wiring is going to looks like a solenoid ? I taped the bare wires up and repositioned the part out of the way and it hasn't faulted since ! I'm never normally that lucky but fingers crossed . image.jpg
