I have the K900 and that displays both signals and allows me to make calls from my phine and use the in-dash sim slot for traffic data

Yes, therefore I'm wondering, as if I remember well, this feature introduced in K_0770... IMHO, this is a new feature only, if you have an older MMI version.

I have the functionality of the sim in the dash and Bluetooth phone connections,

I noticed that one of the images in the ebay auction is the same as one of the images in Westyfield2 post (see link below)

I'm waiting on some communication which could yield genuine updated maps for a little bit cheaper.

All I'll say is that I did something similar a few years ago from another seller on that site and the update process was faultless...the activation process corrupted the mmi unit and cost £3k to replace!!
