I’m about to replace all 4 tyres 255/40r19 for the first time, I would love to hear some recommendations for what tyre I should go for? I’m going for a premium brand but what tyre would you say best suits the car?

Look no further than the 'daddy' Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S .

I opted to change for what was already on the car P-Zeros... Got the dealer to price match a much cheaper local garage at £175 per corner... (255/35/20)
However I'm not too impressed with them... Looking at changing them to Uniroyal Rain Sports for £100 per corner. Only hearing good stuff about them... Will definitely be looking at them next time around!

I have the Michelin PS3 ao in that size and I think they are very good.
My personal favourite is still the good year f1.

I've got the P-Zeros on my A7 at the moment.
Once worn I'll be looking at getting the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3's put on. Always had a very good experience with Eagle F1 tyres...wife has just had them on her A5 and they've transformed the car!

I had the UniRoyals on my 19's. Lasted 12,500 miles on my 3.0 Quattro

just replaced with Michelin PS3's amd after 1000 miles I can't tell the difference apart from the price. I'm just hoping they last considerably longer........

And another one for the Goodyear Eagle F1's, much better than the factory P-Zero's of which I had 1 1/2 sets because they were "cheaper".

I found that the uni royals were not very stiff on the sidewall. Great apart from that. I am using vredestien vortrac ultra at the minute and they are the best tyres I have come across. A good website to check for reviews is tyrereviews.com.
