    Default Upgrade with LED High rear lights? – 27-01-2017,09:50 AM
    Anyone knows if the standard LED rear lights on a B8 estate can easily (but not cheaply...) be replaced with the "LED High" rear lights? The latter are darker red and the stop lights are vertical.
    I guess that the physical dimensions are the same, but does the contatcs differ and/or maybe software?

    Hi,

    Yes, I got an answer. They are easily fitted physically, but you need a software update done as well at your VW dealership.

    Do you have to change the connectors, mine are black and the once on the new led lights are blue
