Hi all, just wondering how easy are the third brake lights to change? The warnings come up on the dash and half the LEDs have gone off and the rest have gone dim. I have heard they are quite a pain to do and usually the spoiler breaks which are priced at a loverly £300 from VW which will then mean I have to get it sprayed and for a £40 part seems quite daft to say that it should be a servicable part and that it is a common problem

    Thanks in advance,

    Sam

The third brake light is now changed. Did it using the forum below. Was a bugger to do. But thank god its done. Advice- use long nose pliers to take the bolts out as opposed to using a screwdriver to pri them up like I did, there now in the spoiler somewhere. Hopefully they wont rattle!!
