Just wondering if anyone has actually ever used this feature?
I think it's probably the only button in the car which never gets pressed.

its only gonna be needed if you actually take it off road, somewhere most q7's will never venture. shame really.
could always try it on the down ramp in a multi storey car park, they are quite steep.

I read a post from someone that used it and was very happy with it. Of course not many people will.

That's the only place I've tried it in the Q7. Have tried it off-road in a Touareg 10 years ago and was really impressed. Assuming the Q7 is more impressive.

Just reminded me of this YouTube clip, I think this should be more than enough for most!

I used it the other day down a snow covered lane which was pretty steep. It did awesome!

Yes I've tried it...all be it at the Silverstone Q7 test drive in July 15. It's fantastic on a steep descent

Basically other side of this was a steep drop

I live in Bulgaria in the mountains and we've had quite a bit of snow this year. I was going down a steep-ish slope when I thought of pressing the button. It completely change the ride quality and I didn't need my brakes after that.

thats because it applies the brakes itself to keep the speed down to a pre determined level, about 5 mph usually.

Where we live we never buy a car without it , it works okay but not as good as on our old Disco 3 , we normally take the disco if the lanes are really bad as the q7 is worth too much to bump ! It sounds really rough though on the disco when in use where as the Q is smooth

Just used HDC for first time on standard U.K. 21 inch tyres and it worked very well. Wish you could vary the speed, but actually it worked well. Also I’m 6inches if snow never faltered.
