Hi all. Just swapped plugs and leads on my 2.0 cabbie. Done each lead one by one so I didn't mess anything up. Car started ok. Got to the 4th plug. Would not move at all. Left it but swapped the lead. Now the car started running quite lumpy. I'd put your foot down and she would jump down the road. Now she wont start at all. Really.confused.. any help much appreciated

Did you gap the plugs? What plugs did you use? Try removing the stuck plug with the engine hot.

check your logbook , engine code will be the first few letters of the engine number . or look for plate under the engine / sticker in spare wheel well . should be 3 letters
Ps I've had loads of trouble with bosch plugs and leads lately . especially euros supplied ones , I insist upon ngk plugs every time and check their catalogue myself before purchasing .

has this engine got the single coil pack ? think it has , check it is earthed properly . if you were getting spark issues before changing the plugs and leads could possibly be this coil pack . had it happen lots back in the day .

i think the back of the coil pack is its earth , so maybe clean that up and try again . and re check the leads and plugs have got all the right connectors and are pushed home all the way . sounds silly i know but new leads can be a lot tighter to push on . if all was fine before its got to be a simple one to fix
