I'm wondering what are the tyres of choice for for a7 owners? What did the 2012 come with as standard when fitted with 20" alloy option? The garage say one tyre was slightly damaged so they will replace two at the cost of 270 euro each, thinking about it now ill probably look to replace the other two as soon as i get it next week. I had uniroyal rainsport 3 on my s6 and i wouldnt rate them anything special, in the past i was always a fan of the Goodyear Eagle asymmetrics

Any advice appreciated, im sure i need XL rated tyres for the a7?

My 2016 car rides on 20 inch Pirelli P Zeros - I really dislike noise so will be looking for quieter tyres when I change them, currently nearing 14k on the car's first set and expecting to change at around 20k based on wear rate to date.

Hopefully the two tyres they put on were not Pirelli's so! I might go for Continental sport contact 6 or Bridgestones or if i can get the Goodyears in the XL rating

My A7 came with Yokohama sport Tyres. Don't remember exactly which. It they were brilliant. Only got about 11k off them though which was the downside.

I replaced with Pirelli p zero and love them. I'm due for a new set as the last ones had gone and it's on winters now.

Think I'll go for the same.

Yesterday our tyre supplier warned us of impending price increases due to the value of Sterling.
