    Hi all,

From this year, I have very strange telephony problems. It seems, that my telephone modul has some very strange contact, or similar problem, I don't know if you have any idea what can it be.

The symptoms started from one day to another, my bluetooth doesn't wanted to work. The telephone modul told me to "please wait" and it was stuck on this screen, nothing happened after a long period. After several resets and some tricks, I was able to see, that the data connection is not working as it should be, and that caused the system to stop at this stage.

I made some factory reset for the telephone+bluetooth+navigation (this is strange, but this helped) and after a while the data connection started to work as it should be, everything was fine. I was very pleased with myself, and went to sleep.

However, the problem doesn't disappeared, the problem occured again EXCEPT now the data connection does not stuck the bluetooth part. Now the bluetooth works fine without any problem, only the data connection is not working, however there is not a single error message in the MMI (no VCDS scan was made yet), just not working.

Done the same as I did before, but no success for about an hour, but after a hour, just like in the wrong movies, the [SIM] message appeared, then I was asked for the SIM code. It was entered, but when I pressed "OK", the telephone module stuck again. Waited for some more minutes, and then everything just worked fine, I entered the SIM code, and the system works again without any problem.

In general it means, both the HW+SW is fine, but there is some miraculous thing, which reminds me a contact failure which disappears when the car gets warm, and the connector or the module gets warmer.

I will attach some pictures from the non-working stage.

Thanks in advance for any clue Screen_0_170111_1640_0008.jpgScreen_0_170111_1704_0001.jpgScreen_0_170112_1601_0002.jpgScreen_1_170111_1640_0009.jpgScreen_1_170112_1601_0002.png

SEEMS solved, even there is no sign of damage, but the housing's gasket became wrong, so I have to replace the inner tail unit with a goodwill. The connection between the lamp and the telephone module is not clear, however, that was the problem.
