My 09 plate Alhambra Stylance has xenon headlamps on the dip beam. My previous 57 plate Stylance had electrically adjustable beam height with Halogen lights but this has been removed with the xenon lights on my current car. I have noticed that the dipped beam has suddenly got lower and whilst checking them against the garage door I suddenly heard a motor noise like the old adjustable beams moving and noticed the beams going up and down before going back to where they were. Has any one else had his problem. I was told by my dealer that the headlamps were fixed with the introduction of the xenon beams but they definitely moved.

they are self levelling with the adjuster on the front suspension arms somewhere

Sounds silly but check your tyre pressures at the front, plenty MOT failures for headlights on soft tyres ............................... everyone forgets to check this

then jack up car and find the sensor itself for wiring is ok or replacement

SEAT Alhambra Skoda Octavia Superb 01-10 Xenon Headlight Level Sensor 4B0907503 | eBay something like this is perhaps what you need ?

better description here http://www.cars-equipment.com/www/en...-lights-level/ you might want to phone up & ask how many you need , as if its two ......................... just buy both as you wont know what side is away ................................ usually in life like shockers , spark plugs etc if ones away due to age then the other side is usually about to go too
