    hi got an alhambra 2001 v plate someone has butchered the radio harness have managed to sort out speaker wires but for the life of me i need help with the black plug for radio does anyone know or have a diagram of the wires going into the black plug from the harness

    You can usually work out based on the wire colours - do you have a photo or a rough idea of the colours - there shouldn't be much difference from other models.

    hi thanks for responce the wires are red,brown/red,brown,purple,red/white grey/white,grey/blue i am trying to rewire the old
    harness

    Are the harness pins on one level or are they on two?



    For reference, the foreground is one level, the background is two.

    Without a photo, my best guess is;

    Red - Battery +ve
    Brown/Red - ignition live
    Brown - ground
    Purple - right rear speaker +ve
    Red/White - Permanent live
    Grey/White - GALA - speed sensitive volume
    Grey/Blue - illumination

    It's a guess though, so seek expert advice before you destroy your vehicle because an incredibly handsome chap on the internet told you how to wire a radio

    Might need a photo then, there shouldn't be a purple in there as far as I know.
