    hi there.
    i'm really wanting to update the look of my car by replacing all bulbs with LED bulbs.


    i know i'll get canbus warnings on the dash is there a way of turning this feature off using vagcom???

    Hey there, I have changed a lot of my bulbs, headlights, foglights, sidelights etc, as well as the rear number plate bulbs and most of the interior bulbs for either LED or super bright white bulbs with no issues.

    You can turn the bulb 'cold' detection off but it won't do you any good because the power to each bulb is also turned off if the computer thinks the bulb has blown.

    You may not get any error but you won't have lights either !

    hi there im thinking of replacing my bulbs on golf mk6 with canbus led's, is is safe to go higher wattage than what is on standard bulb?, ie standard is 55 can i go 80 or 100?
