    Hi,

I have couple niggles on my A6 and in particular related to a couple of items that stopped working in a space of last three weeks,

    - horn is no longer working and
    - the Xenon headlight washers are off

Checked the fuses (all okay) and there are no 'errors' on VCDSs... before i take the bumper off for closer inspection i was wondering if you have any hints or other areas i could look into?

    Many thanks.

Washers could just be a fluid hose loose or broken fitting. Pretty sure they pop up with water pressure so when there is no water, the washers don't come up.

I checked it couple of times with washer fluid fully topped up and lights ON but still nothing.

I can hear a pump-type sound related to the headlight washers but they don't 'move' so to speak.

How easy/difficult is it to take the bumper off?

And, do you have suggestions which hoses are required (eg. Diameter)?

    Ta

I think you can check the hose connections from the passenger wheel well. Remove wheel then the liner to gain access. Hopefully someone can confirm this first.
One of the guys on here (Gupsterg) is great with the C6. Try a PM to him or look for some of his posts.
