Had a look at the Q7 forum re dynamic indicators ,of particular interest is the guy that posted the paragraph below that the sweep could be achieved by coding! and a link from the control module to the rear light .

But also read on another forum that Los_cuantos (think it was him ) is working on a coding solution for the A6 , fingers crossed for this mod! -

    Rear Dynamic Indicators

I looked the wiring diagramm. The standard light has 4 pin connector and the dynamic has 5 pin connector. The wiring is same for both except there is an additional wire from the Convenience system central control unit pin11 to the light pin5 for the dynamic light. All other wiring are same for both lights. There is no additional module or control unit for dynamic, only one wire is the difference. Also this additional wire is common for left and right hand light.

It not possible with a software tweak at the Pre Facelift models. It is a hardware job.

I would be interested to know if the sweep was mod-able... for a face lift C7 for example, could you make it sweep twice, or put a break in the sweep so you get two sweeping light sections, or sweeping dots.

It would just look a bit different than just the sweep that every one has.... well not everyone, obviously.

    Ill watch with interest.
