    Dear Friends and experts, I have Audi A3, 1.6 L Petrol Automatic Car, year 2007. My car is having issue with the Radio and central locking goes off and on.. Not sure why this is happening and how to fix this? Does anyone exact solution of any good garages in North West London who can fix this issue. I read few threads stating that changing the ignition switch and regreasing it would solve this issue? Would appreciate youf feedback and assistance. Many thanks Shri

    Is it playing a cd or is it a radio station when the radio comes on by itself?

    thanks for your swift reply.. its CD as well as radio both comes on and off and central locking .. very oftenly and very annoying.. I am concerned about central locking as I have small kids.. would appreciate your advise in terms of fixing this issue.. many thanks Shri0101

    Pretty certain it's the ignition switch faulty. It's a known problem. The grease dries and the s contact messes about and thinks that you are inserting and removing the key.

    Dear Flappjack76, Yes it makes sense and your answer has some logic.. just last question.. do you know how much this cost? ignation switch and any garages in North West London? or any resonable garage would can replace this? Much appreciated Shri0101
