Found on the A6 part of the forum that newer cars are coming with washer jets that spray a mist rather than the normal 3 jets.

I bought a set last week and they are much better. They cover the whole window in a fine mist and seem to clean better as the fluid covers the whole window.

Part numbers are 4G0955987A & 4G0955988A. They are a direct swap and easy to adjust with a torq bit screw driver.

Thanks M1tchy, I hate the existing 3 jet washers and can never get them to cover the whole screen. Where did you buy yours and what did they cost. I am seeing a huge price variation.

Me too. Really missed them when I had them on my insignia.

I got them new from Audi. They were £7 something each plus VAT. Got both for less than £20 and about 60 secs to fit.

Yes these are the heated ones mate.

I bought another set yesterday for the wife's A5 (exactly the same fitting) so will take a few pics - it's probably not needed though.

Fitted them to my wife's A5 this morning. Same part number and exactly the same fitting.

This is the view from the front of the jet. The screw on the right adjusts the height of the spray.

They are also marked L + R so you know which side they go on.

To remove the old ones, open the bonnet, the pull the old nozzles from the front in a pendulum motion. They only move as far as in the pic. Then remove it.

Next remove the connection for the fluid. Slide the plastic retainer back about half a cm making sure it doesn't ping off and the pipe then comes off.

Next is the electrical connection for the nozzle heater. Slightly lift the clip and pull the plug so it comes off.

Install in reverse order and test. The height of the jets can be adjusted with the bonnet closed.

And this is them working. I've also added a system called heatshot which heats the washer fluid hence the steam after a few seconds.

I can't see why not mate. It's an A6 part number that I've posted and they fit the A7 (63 plate) and A5 (12 plate)

champion, its about the only thing I miss from my previous car, a Peugeot 407. I found you use a lot less water with the fan rather than jets
