Hitting pot holes or speed bumps will only knock the tracking out if something on the suspension gets damaged so you would have to hit it pretty hard. Pot holes can damage tyres and straddling speed bumps wears the inside edge of tyres, a result of going over the speed bump not the tracking being out. I agree tyres inflation plays a part in how tyres wear as does driving style. People are far too quick to jump on your tracking has been knocked out bandwagon.

What's the best price anyone's got for the Pirelli P Zero 255/45/19 which are standard figment on the Allroad?

OMG you're in Haverfordwest! Lovely place but restricts your choices.
There is a tatty little place in Bromgrove called Jeffries that does killer prices (their fitted prices are awesome) and they are very professional but probably too much of a haul for you... You could call them and see.

There's also a handy independent VAG specialist close by for when you're out of warranty/goodwill or want to do a covert interim oil/filter change. Discount code somewhere in my drawer if you need it ever.

Question for hgrees: Have you considered other options beyond the OE tyres with "AO" suffix, especially given your experience of wear? There's a world of choice and you're sure to find something to match your requirements if you don't restrict the view. Are you 100% "summer" 100% road or did you pick an allroad for different conditions say than you might choose an RS product for? That said, some would consider me a bit too experimental with variations in load index, speed rating and size conversions which each add extra dimensions of choice.

I've since changed them for 20'" wheels The outside edge on the fronts are again wearing a little more. Forgot to mention that I'm selling my 19" sport wheels with the original Pirelli tyres (6mm and 6.5mm). Not asking much more than a set of new tyres if your interested.
