    hi

    i had the following error

    7859 - Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor (Bank 1)
    P2015 00 [039] - Implausible Signal
    Not Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
    Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 00000001
    Fault Priority: 2
    Fault Frequency: 1

    I changed the throttle body for a brand new one and did the adaption but i still get the above error

    can anyone help out

    Dont forget the fault could be caused by the wiring to it.

    I think that code refers to the V183's variable intake manifold position sensor G513 rather than the V157 flaps G69 sensor. The V157 does not need adapting. I wish these codes all had the relevant SDC code included to prevent confusion like this, the Ross Tech explanation is

    18447 (P2015) - Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor (Bank 1): Implausible Signal

    but the ELSA diagram annotates two parts like this

    "Variable Intake Manifold Motor V183, with variable intake manifold falp position sender G513"

    and

    "Intake Manifold Flap Motor V157 with throttle valve potentiometer G69"

    so which one do you choose????

    are there any tests i can run via vcds to see if the v183 motor is work correctly ?
