    Hi

My A4 b7 2.0tdi starts up every time when cold, but when warm it takes three to four seconds to 'fire up' - to start.

I wait for the glow plug light to go out on the dash every time but always a delayed start......any clues?

Is this likely to be a glow plug issue?

    with thanks

as far as i know its the other way round with glow plugs. if its faulty it will hesitate to start when cold. I think you might have an air sensor issue possibly? hook it up to a diagnostic machine
