    Hi there, is the component protection anything to worry about?

    im looking to buy this....

    and no its not stolen lol, seller says ill need to get it coded to my car and have the component protection removed.

    is it worth getting?

    It's for a MK7 which runs on a completely different communication system, if you dim know what you're doing en it will open a very big can of worms.

    If I were you be better fitting a RNS510.
