Telephone module faulty - codes now showing up

Hi all,

Been having a problem with my Bluetooth module. Ever since the battery ran down & I had to give it a deep charge for 24 hours using a CTEK Smart Charger, the Bluetooth module won't pair with any phones. The phone simply won't recognise that the Bluetooth signal exists. Did lots of VCDS investigating previously, under the advice of A8_Tech, including optical tests etc, but no faults were thrown up at the time. There does seem to be faults relating to the telephone showing in the scan now however, so I wondered if anyone has an idea of what this fault code could mean?

How old's the battery, if new have you had it tested?

As as I bought a brand new battery for my profile car last month and it was duff, place I bought it from immediately changed it.

CTEK chargers, whilst being brilliant (I have one) can't resurrect Lazarus, did it go green to indicate the battery was fully recovered? Also how did it manage to get so low?

Its hard to take this scan serious, same faults as year ago:

You have intermittent fault on module 7 i would clear this and regarding bt if faults are real, your antenna might be dead, had it recently on one with mmi 2G!

But in general deletete everything etc:

I could have sworn that last time I scanned it, there were no faults showing for the telephone module. I'll clear them and rescue in that case.

The CTEK charger did show that it was fully recovered/charged, but I guess the battery got so low that it won't ever fully recover. The reason it got so low was that I got a company van which had to stay on the driveway, relegating my car to being parked round the corner in the village, so for about 3 months, I never really used it, as it was just easier to jump in the Wife's car.

I guess the next step is to clear faults, rescan & if necessary, buy a new battery. Could the fact that the battery hasn't fully recovered, be stopping the Bluetooth module from working still?
