    HI,

    r0w8sk.jpgslk712.jpg

I recently got my engine changed on a AUDI a3 2.0 QUATRO 57

everything seems fine as ive changed water pump + timing belt + flywheel + clutch

But today when i drive i can hear a grinding/vibrating noise when braking, taking off the sound doesnt always happen but comes once in a while.
When i switch the car off i can hear a loud vibrating/grinding noise and i have located where it is coming from and added pics below

does anybody know what this part is? and what may be the issue?

(A mechanic did advise me it may be my vacuum pump but he said its working just vibrating shouldn't be a issue but just change it in case)

    Kind regards,

    HASH

Check your front brake caliper pin, maybe it got worn a bit, cutting a little piece of redbull can, enroll exactly one turn in the caliper pin, your problem is resolve till you get a new pin.
