I keep getting an intermittent bulb warning for the left side light on my 2013 plate Alhambra.
It sometime comes on when first switching on but goes out after driving for a while.

According to the the handbook the sidelight is a small bulb in with the main beam.
But ive had a look and there is only the main beam in there.

There are 4 bulb compartments in the main headlight in all that I can see:
main beam, dipped beam, indicator and one other bulb which according the the manual is the daytime driving light.

So where is the side light?

Just as a follow up for anyone wanting this information in the future.

I went through all the bulbs in the headlight unit at the weekend.
The arrangement on my 2013 Alhambra is different to what is shown in the car handbook.

You basically have 4 bulbs, each behind rubber circular covers.

    There is:
    1. H7 Dipped beam
    2. H15 Main beam
    3. 501 side light
    4. 581 Indicator

The sidelight is in the outside lower location. And the H15 main beam is a dual wattage bulb that shares the Main beam and daytime driving light function.

The handbook that comes with the car shows the side light as being in with the main beam, and the daytime driving light as having it's own compartment.
    This is wrong.

The good thing is that the bulbs are pretty accessible and it's quite easy to get your hand in and change them, without the need to remove other components.
Much easier than on other cars I've owned.

Although the sidelight bulb in question looked ok, it was still producing an intermmittent fault when I reseated it, so I changed the bulb for a new one and all is working fine now.
