2005 TDI 130 juddering under load

Hey

My 2005 TDI 130 started developing a juddering/shaking under load over the last couple of months. Usually occurs from ~1500 - 2000 rpm and is not consistent - sometimes there is little to no vibration.

Always been serviced on time and with correct oil etc.

Plugged in and no fault codes showed up.

Injector wiring loom replaced and problem remains.

Recently engine management light and Emissions Workshop warning message have appeared intermittently along with a loss of power.

Any ideas what the cause is ?

cool, so that should find any codes. some people scan with a 1.99 ebay jobbie and wonder why they cant find any codes.. you say juddering and shaking under load, is there always loss of power. could the juddring be dmf or engine mounts.

There isnt always a loss of power, it happens approx 50% of the time and when it does it lags up to ~2000 rpm then power returns as normal. Spoke to two different mechanics who ruled out both dmf and loose engine mounts.

At the moment I'm leaning towards it being an injector issue ? Other possibilities are the maf and fuel filter.

I would swap out the MAF for a used unit and see what happens.
