    No there is a small hole at about 8 o'clock on the plastic surround to the barrel.

    Just gone out and checked for you and can report it's freakin freezing!

    have you warmed up yet? i will go down garage in the morning and give it a try..yes its freezing here as well just been out to check christmas lights are working ok under instructions from she who must be obeyed

    absolutely spot on. the mechanic did not know and was pleased to be shown .(i thought he might take umbridge at being told) did it stick in because sensor on auto gearstick is faulty ,do you think .as never had this problem before and had car 2 years now

    we have a result after i fitted new heater blower and resister .totally coincidentally the air con pressure sensor failed and caused a fault in the can cables on heater/aircon control panel.this caused fan to fail ...replaced air con control sensor emptied and regassed air con.all seems to be working fine now fingers and toes crossed...hope this helps more on here with same problem as not many seem to have resolved .heater fan failing

    I wonder if that could be my problem my fan became intermittent a week ago seemed to happen on bumps stopping and starting as I drove then nothing read to replace blower and resistor control pack which I've done but no joy any help would be good scan showed high temp sensor failed open or short to plus

    hi it sounds more like you have a loose connection somewhere if it is like it going over bumps etc.trouble is when you are stationary.the computer may not find the fault ..sorry i could not be more help

    I forgot to mention econ button lit if held in display shows off move any control and display shows temp etc but even lights too

    hmm sounds like you might have issues in your heater control panel.sorry cannot help with this it is too technical for me
