Hi All, I am hoping one of your friendly people can shed some light on an ongoing issue with my A3..

The DPF light comes on and goes into LIMP mode on within 50 miles of travel under normal daytime load.

    Parts swapped so far:

    DPF Sensor
    Pressure Sensor
    EGR Valve
    DPF.

It has been to 3 Audi specialists and a Main dealer...

The car runs fine, then DPF light comes on... I then plugged in VCDS to check and the DPF reads about 36% on the coefficient scale.
within 10 miles the car goes into limp mode.

I enter the 21295 regen code and keep it above 40mph at around 2500 rpms after a 15 mile journey the % reads 15, the lights go out and engine returns to normal running mode...

however the % increases rapidly so its a matter of say 15 more miles before the dpf light is back on.

The injectors have been removed sent off for test and refurbed and came back within tolerance.

the idle is smooth and im not picking up on a misfire ....

I now have seemed to run of options ....

Any ideas or a plan of action would be gratefully received.

    Cheers in advance

    Neil

What's the dpf offset value in measured value blocks? Also what are the temperature readings from cold of the 3 or 4 exhaust gas temperature sensors in measured values?

Are you sure that none of the injectors are the potentially problematic part number?

    Part number 03G 130 073 D

Have the injector to head contact faces been inspected for damage?

    Morning Basher,

The injectors in the images are the ones installed by Guildford Audi 4 years ago.. they were swapped as part of a recall..

When those images were taken the Specialist at the time did check them and confirmed they were the new type... They were sent off and tested and referburshed... came back as not fault found and within tolerance.. were cleaned and had new seals installed.

I couldnt see any scoring on the bottom of the head holes nor below the lower seal on each of the injectors..

Does this help you for a possible diagnosis?

    Kind Regards

    Neil
