Hi Guys I'm new here , however I've read lots of threads from here helping me with my VAG journey!, I have a 2007 seat Ibiza 1.9 tdi, I've had it a year and love the car but my god it never gets warm in winter, I understand these cars are efficient and aren't the best at warming up, but I'm just wondering if you guys have any suggestions or tips? I'm talking in current 5 degree Celsius temperature it takes a good 20/25 minutes to even get any warmth and even then it's like warm
thing is I rode a bike most of my younger life and I choose the car to keep warm and save the accidents but it doesn't keep me warm at all 😂, any suggestions if you guys think it's a problem etc?
    thanks in advance guys
    Sam

Hello thanks for you reply, it takes absolutely ages to move , a good 20 minutes(I know it's cold out but it's not freezing), and then another good 10 minutes to creep up to 90, if it ever makes it there then I turn the fans on say number 2 with some heat and the temp gauge slowly makes it way back down until the air is only luke warm again, it's very frustrating as I have to drive about half an hour for 5/10 minutes of warming air , very annoying

Thanks it's got an MOT due in 2 weeks so may get it done then, it's 1 degrees Celsius here this morning, I had the car running for 5/10 minutes while I scraped off the windows then had a 15/20 minute drive and the needle had only just moved, having to wear gloves, scarf wool that and a big jacket while driving is not the one 😂
