    Cheers, it been fun so far and I will have something quite unique at the end.

    It's driving the wife a bit mad with how much time it's taking to finish all the details like the cable stops and finishing the joints, but I think it will be worth it in the end.

    It's bloody great!
    It has the compliance of a carbon frame and the tire clearance to handle the 38/40mm tires you see so add that to the mix and once the road surface is a bit broken (like many in Leicestershire) it's just as fast and way more comfortable than a regular road bike.
    Add to that it's ability to handle canal tow paths with ease and it's a badass all rounder!

    Sure am,
    It about to migrate from the 32mm summer tyres to the full on 29er 2.1" MTB winter treads.
    Only other addition are a new clutched derailleur to keep chain tension on the bumpy stuff and this stem cap.
