audi.jpgIs this warning light on a 2008 B8 A4 for a 'defective windscreen wiper' or 'low washer fluid'? If it is for a defective windscreen wiper, is this likely to involve changing the motor and or module and what is the likely cost?

    Many thanks in advance

Mostly, the dealer need not be involved in extinguishing that dash warning light.

Many thanks for the replies, I know it must sound daft asking but this warning light was on a car I saw advertised online and I wasn't 100% sure if it was just for the low washer fluid or a fault with the actual wiper system which I've heard could be relatively expensive.

I always thought that the washer fluid symbol was a blank windscreen with water jets spurting out whereas the defective wiper was a symbol with a windscreen that was partially a solid colour rather than an opaque screen. I just thought that this light could have been for a defective wiper system.

As it's just the washer fluid, I don't think the dealer needs to be involved with resolving this one!
