Cabin filter tray removed, the area has been cleaned and a new one (with a new filter) has been fitted back. Spent some time drying the carpet. Job 1 done

Suspension air compresor removed from the car, the metal guard had corroded badly and almost disintegrated, but once I opened the compresor, the cylinder is clean and scratch free and the piston ring have a slight taper, so I am pretty confident the repair kit is going to work

I need to source a new metal guard / compressor cover (are them expensive?), nuts and the clips for the intake hose. Do you know what is the p/n for the rubber band that holds the air compresor silencer in place? I found this picture showing the band.

    Best regards.

I have been checking at it seems the 4B0962258N is indeed the right CCM for my car. Any idea why I can't sync the fob and also I can't connect for diagnostics?

Changed the CCM module for another one... and I cannot connect!! When I try to connect, I have hear a relay clicking (both in the old and the new) and the interior lights flickers twice. Maybe the connector wasn-t properly changed. I will try to source one and try again.

    Hi Andi,

It was an used module, and does exactly the same as mine: PCB is squeaky clean, no corrosion, but when I try to connect with module 35, you can hear a relay clicking twice and interior lights flickers. The "power" connector (I thing is connector number 1) has been replaced in the past, all the wires coming out are yellow, and it's been soldered to the loom, but they used electric tape to insulate them.

This weeked it's time to remove passenger seat and give a good look at the loom under the carpet.

Yep remove tape and check joints, if they have been in the water I suspect a few need to be cleaned and re-joined

Removed seats, rear centre console and lifted carpet, found a few more corroded cable junctions. In the point where multiple cables joins (+12 volt cables, probably), cables are joined with a copper ring. I tried soldering, but it's very complicated due to the diameter of the cables.

Can these copper rings be sourced?
