Suspension Question

Hi all
Having just purchased a 2003 A6 2.5TDI Allroad - but picking up tomorrow (I have viewed/driven briefly/tested all the buttons/liked!) I want to ask about the Suspension settings? The Car had the Air Suspension replaced 2 years ago (110k ish) and All seems to work on the buttons as should.
But my question is:
I normally only drive normal roads (London/Regional...Speed Humps etc) and Motorways, So I guess I should set suspension to Lowest for 'Normal' Road Conditions?
But has anybody experience of using car 'Daily' on Higher settings (ie normal sh*te roads... Pot Holes/Speed Ramps blah blah blah)?

And if NOT. Should I ACTIVATE the Suspension Regularly to keep it from ..... Not working Properly??

Thank You everybody! Had First Day with MY new A6 Allroad, and has been good Lovely Car, Drives very well, really Like it However, I Just feel that its a little Under Geared for Normal Motorway Driving at 70mph/80mph (not that I ever exceed 70mph...) ? Is this Normal? In 5th by 40(ish) mph... and then Revving to about 3000rpm at70mph (++) on constant throttle / cruise? Both in Auto and 'Manual' Modes?

If normal, then no worries

Would appreciate your own experiences.
