Replace my A8 D4 Standard Seats?

Hi

Just bought a 2012 A8L 4.2TDi, a fantastic car, the acceleration actually made me jump.

My last A8 had comfort seats, which I loved, but for some reason the person buying this car new bought the night vision but left the seats as standard, but it had night vision, B&O hifi & active LED lights, so I could not say no.

Anyway I thought it might be possible to change the seats out, I know its going to cost the thick end of £2000, maybe more, but I wondered if anyone had done it, and how was it?

Lots of replacement seating from Germany, but they are all for left hand drive, would they work?

Any thoughts welcome.

These ones look nice but depends what colour you want. Hopefully LHD would work but the door cards would need to be altered or you could swap parts from your door card over but then restricts you to selling your interior to LHD.

I don't think there would be any issue with LHD seats, all the adjustment options seem to be the same on front passenger/driver seats. If you buy the same colour as your standard seats, the doorcards can be left. Ebay.de had lots but shipping will be pricey as they are do bulky. Maybe try some local breakers too.
