It has PR-1BV sports suspension and ETKA FI gives the front dampers as being 4F0 413 031 AJ which are £133.46 genuine. These are a Boge 32-N66-B or Sachs 312 639, ECP do the Sachs Shock Absorber at £93.99

The number I gave you was for the front which is what your private messages to me were headed with. The current correct rear damper number for your car is 4F0 513 032 AG. 4F0 513 032 J is the old pre 11/2008 number which changed to the current 4F0 513 032 AG

Yes... I did research and you are correct ‘AG replaces J.

and after an oil-change , terracleaning my inlet and replacing a blown intercooler pipe at the throttle body, it’s now making another low frequency sucking noise at low revs, part acceleration or just idling. 🤦*♂️. This time on the driver side

Apart from that the car feels more lively, there is more power earlier and it is certainly more comfortable. The old shocks were shot obviously
