The app was updated 2 days ago stating bug fixes and stability improvements so hopefully a good sign that they're all over bugs (unlike Audi!!)

Gyro posted some pics of his install and the other thing I like is how discreet it is. Not really visible from the outside unless you're looking for it and barely visible from the drivers seat.

With regards to viewing on a PC, the windows app is better than the mac version. I can't seem to make he app full screen on the mac for some reason.

Oh, there's one more thing I want to ask about - how did you find positioning of the front camera on the windscreen? It looks quite bulky and I imagine it would hard to hide it behind the rear view mirror.

Mine is positioned the same as Gyro's - link to his pics below.

The device isn't that big and sits flush to the windscreen.

Just got round to fitting mine and have exactly the same problem as you show in the pic. Rear one is fine.

I can't find any return instructions in the package the filters came with - did you just use the address on the website?

    Hi Gyro,

Sent you a PM with the details but can confirm they have credited my account for the front filter i returned.

Still impressed with the cam, not had it cut out due to battery drain so getting about 2 days of parking time lapse stored. Couple of additional points:
    * with sensitivity on high, it even registered a parking event when the bin lorry stopped in front of the house
    * I had to do an emergency stop from about 30mph last week when someone decided to overtake a parked car when i was coming the other way. Cam automatically captured the event and also stored a backup copy on the dashcam memory in addition to the SD.

Cheers Gyro, just wondered if anyone knows of a simple camera system that will work when parked to monitor the sides of the vehicles as well ?

I haven't come across one (but I've never looked to be fair). There are two options that spring to mind - possibly running two extra F770 "rear" cameras to the each side (just above the front of the rear windows?), but I'm not sure how many extra camera you can connect into the main camera, it may also deplete the battery quickly in parking mode and you'd fill up the memory card twice as quick. Certainly from the F770 app, it doesn't look like there is an option for more that two (i.e. front and rear) cameras. The other option is to maybe have two separate dashcam systems installed? One for front and rear and one to cover both sides, although this may get messy and again there is the drain on the battery during parking mode.

Someone more knowledgeable than me may be able to shed some more light on it?

Just ordered the front+rear+fitting off the RAC site. Will update and post pics when fitted.

Booked in for next Thursday. Apparently going to take half-a-day to do the work (which means the installation seems rather cheap)

    Thanks @Gyro /@SRB

Just purchased from RAC Shop @£328 and read the comment about the windscreen effect..

So I guess there is no fix..

In theory shouldn't all camera's do it then? Thinkware or not

Is it just on sunny days or always inclination have no impact?
