I would say you will be looking to add around 13-15 litres to fill it up.

I have added Adblue 3 times now and each time after the warning has come on I have bought 10l (c£13) from Eurocarparts and added it myself. Lasts another 5700 miles or so before I get the 1500 mile warning

My experience so far is that the AdBlue pumps at garages are for commercial vehicles and the flow rate is too fast for the smaller pipe used on a car. Given the bad press around diesels and the impending bans in some cities which is no doubt likely to grow, investing in Adblue pumps for cars may be something that garage owners decide is simply not worthwhile

The one I use is at a recently refurbished BP station and is not a HGV pump. Never had a problem filling, but I can't speak for other locations.

Are you sure you need Ad-blue. I have a 2014 BiTDi and do not need Ad-blue

I've just received my new A6 TDi that uses Adblue. My previous model didn't need it. I have seen the filler pipes you can buy to fit the A6. Are the 10L Adblue containers all the same connection so they all fit the filler pipe? I do quite a few miles, so want to get some in ready for when I need it.

The 10l containers I have purchased have a pipe included and it does not screw into the car aperture

    King **** 17mm Nut Spinner 249317

Perfect for the job. Why the hell would Audi expect you to use the wheel brace! Far too easy to over tighten or break the plastic nut
