    Hi

My wife's car got stolen last night and I'm paranoid about mine tonight.

Is there anything I can do to immobilise it overnight?

Happy to get replies via a PM to keep this out of public view.

    Thanks
    Andy

Ouch that's no good. Sorry to hear that fella. Scumbags. Country gets worse every five minutes... wheel clamp. If it's on your drive, invest in a ground anchor. Most people think they're only for bikes but you hide it under the car and chain your driveshaft/wishbone to it, cars going nowhere and I doubt thieves will think to look for it would make hell of a racket getting it off...

    Sorry to hear that

If you have keyless door open - disable it.
If I remember well, you can disable the remote central locking - disable it, lock the car with the key.
If there is a guarded parking possibility - use it.
Buy a wheel/steering wheel lock if possible, and use it.

If you have a feeling, that your keys were compromised, then you should reprogram all your keys in an Audi service immediately.

I don't think they were compromised and I have both sets. My concern is them breaking in tonight again.

From what my cctv showed, they were keen on my car.

Might be daft but thought about taking the batteries out of the keys? Might slow them down.

Sleep with the keys under your pillow, or in the boot with a crowbar?

Other than that, battery removal from all things, and disable any automatic aids that would help them get in.
