If ever you see a car for sale on Ebay and get asked to contact this company, do not touch with a bargepole.

Somebody advertises a car on Ebay. When you contact them, they ask you to contact Transport Operations Ltd in Plymouth who will take money off you and that's it. I fell for it, and then I found a posting on a Range Rover forum from four years ago, with pasted emails virtyaully word for word the same as I got from the alledged seller of the vehicle. In my case it was a Q5. BEWARE.

The company you mention is registered at Companies House.

If you believe they are engaging in fraudulent activities please contact the police and provide them with all the details.

If you have a complaint about the way the company has acted then you must report it to the Insolvency Service.

Thanks, I've already reported it on the ActionFraud website and have a crime reference number. I'll have a look at the insolvency Service as well.

Have you got the eBay link? It's worth contacting them too in regards to the eBay seller themselves.

If you paid the money using a credit card you may have some recourse.

Well fortunately I got my money returned in full. There's a mistake that I won't make again. Quite by coincidence, the exact same car is for sale with what looks like a legitimate dealer in Scotland.
