New (to me) B8 Audi A4 3.0tdi stronic sline special edition

Hi all. Just joined the forum and thought I'd just say hi.
I live in Bolton and picked up this Audi A4 from Aberdeen, brought it privately and got it at a price that was well worth me traveling for. It's got 63k miles with full service history from Audi and Specialist. I came from a 2009 VW Scirocco 2.0tsi DSG, which was a brilliant motor but due to starting a family I need something something more practical. I'm extremely chuffed with the new motor and drives like new, although from research the stronic issues are a slight worry but hope its as reliable as my VW DSG...time will tell.

welcome to the forum. I am in Glasgow went to london just a few months ago and drove it back up. Bet you didn't get stuck in a major crash south of Birmingham for 10 hours! It just shows the length we will go to, to get a car we want. I got a 2010 avant quattro sline special edition really love it. Was in a Leon cupra before just a bit different !!

Cheers pal, yes sometimes it's worth traveling for the right car.
I've already performed quite a few vagcom tweaks and I may do a few things to the car.

yep started myself. Gutted the rear boxes and got straight through pipes inserted definitely gives a bit faster response. Next for me its a Revo remap oh also got a foam air filter as well. Beyond that its turbo changing etc. which is probably too much. Well for now !! Trying to get a set of winter tyre and rims sorted out at the moment as well. Good luck with the mods
