I have some movement around the shifter, the plastic/metal piece that surrounds the shifter. I have attached a link to a small video. Is it important, should I worry about it? Any thoughts on how you would fix it? Thanks

Does anyone have any thoughts on whether this is just cosmetic.

    Thanks

Cosmetic. Surrounding area has expanded or tangs / fittings for the plastic have broken or are missing underneath. Not a functional issue that would affect the DSG box or linkage.
