Dear All,

I recently had the misfortune of a 2cent coin dropping into my 12V socket causing a short circuit. The fuse blew, as expected, however when replaced the 12V socket was still not functioning. I have ran all the tests i could think of in order to determine the issue at hand without any lucky. For instance i know that there is 12V passing through Fuse 41 (the cigarette lighter fuse in the side panel fusebox) but not through the wire reaching the 12V socket.

My theory is that in addition to blowing my fuse, the short circuit may have melted the wire running to the 12V socket. I have started to look at the relays in order to understand why the fuse wire isn't directly connected to the 12V socket, but i can't find any accurate circuitry diagrams online to help out. Leading to my question:
What circuitry exists between this fuse (#41) and the 12V socket?

Thank you in advance for any help

Will
