SIM Card not registering in MMI

Hey max. It happened about once in last couple of months I reckon... The quick fix for me is to just reboot the mmi unit (even while driving) using the 3 finger reboot. It seems to then reappear. No removing or reinsert in the sim card...

Like you say a reboot is the only fix

if you remove refit etc it still don't show up
easy fix but not right all the same
and speak to Audi uk and they say well that's a first no one else has probs lol

Max, if yours is happening frequently enough, can you switch for a different SIM / provider just to rule it out?

I've had no issues like that and the kids give it a good hammering DJ'ing from the back on Apple Music or streaming YouTube or Roblox.

I have tried another sim and still the same I really don't think it's the sim even if you take it out put another in it don't work unless you do a restore or reboot like Andy says so not sure on answer tbh
