Has anyone tried using two CarPlay devices plugged into the Q7 at the same time? What is the experience like? Do both work and can you easily swap between the two different CarPlay devices for music selection etc?

    Thanks in advance.

My wife's phone and my phone are regularly both connected for the charging powers rather than CarPlay...

Don't think both connect to CarPlay, only one does and only way to change I think is using connection manager or just unplugging one of them.

Interestingly I don't know whether one USB port is CarPlay or not - as silly as that sounds I sat in a new FL A3 which had 2 ports and one had above it charge only. Could be power rather than CarPlay but not sure

Jono I tried this today and you can't have two phones connected at the same time to CarPlay - if you have two phones connected via the USBs the first one in will automatically link up to CarPlay. If you want to switch between them you just head to the 'Connection Manager' under settings and select the other phone there. Pretty quick and simple to do

Awesome thanks for testing that. I didn't expect them to both be able to be 'active' at the same time, but knowing you can switch between them easily is good information to know. Thanks again!
